In last week’s Friday Follow-a-FOIA installment, we sent off an email to Wisconsin assemblyman Mark Gottlieb, asking for copies of documents he had received from individuals or groups lobbying him on an assembly bill he is sponsoring.
On Tuesday of this week, I received a polite and prompt response from Rep. Gottlieb, saying that the documents would quickly be assembled on and on their way to me.
How frustrating. At the very least, I expect our public officials to insist that my requests are too broad, improperly filed or will cost $22,314.35.
Friday FOIA scorecard:
5 minutes. Nothing to complain about.
