Gov. Bredesen wanders off the open government reservation

April 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Although Gov. Bredesen of Tennessee was a charming southern sunbeam in the Sunshine Blogger Project, he has now misplaced his open government credentials, as Tennessee blogger Bill Hobbs details here.

This is just one part of a darkness epidemic breaking out in the Volunteer State.

Meanwhile, Drew Johnson, a friend and fellow member of the TNILC*, has had to file a lawsuit to get some records from a Tennessee state agency. His request dates back nine months.
